Himachal Pradesh State CID conducted a two-day annual classification firing practice training for various police personnel at the police firing range near the Ashwani Khad in Shimla district this month. Around 200 policepersons from various units of the CID including commandos, personal security officers and others participated in the exercise. The trainees practised firing both long and short-range weapons, ie MP 5A Sub Machine Gun and pistols, from a distance of 50 yards and 30 yards from the target.
