Food Corporation of India, regional office, Shimla on Friday (October 2) celebrated Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti by planting medicinal and nutritional plants in a 'nutritional garden' developed by the Corporation next to its office in New Shimla. The general manager (region) and deputy deneral manager planted Asparagus recemosus (Shatavari), Withania Somnifera (Ashvagandha) and Murraya koengii (curry leaf) in the garden. The event was attended by various employees and their families.
